It's been a while since I've updated my tour blog, I'm TRYING to get much better at posting, so here it goes.... I've been happy to return to SeaTac Airport on a more regular basis, hopefully things will pick up this winter.
I've been back to Richland Washington for another gig at The Rattlesnake Mt Brewing Co. and have more dates on the books!! It was fun to play a couple new places too, Crucible Brewing and The Carnation Cafe. Both excellent places and I look forward to returning. The Carnation Cafe was another milestone as show number 80 since mid-April and 117 for the year... so far. The photos in the slideshow are of Yakima Valley. I had to include the mens room at the rest-stop because, well... let's just say it was "special" and I didn't make it out without tossing my donuts and coffee outside the door...there was only one tree in the whole damn valley.. then I had a couple days off at home to regroup and get ready for the end of summer push. I had such a great time performing at @thetripledoor I got to open the show for my friends in The Vault Band and @officialrandyhansen thanks @mrbill4man for the cool pic. You make me look better than I am. Then after a couple days off I was headed up north to Mt Vernon as the featured artist for #farmstrongbrewing and their Tuesday Truck show series. Farms, trucks…music…my kind of gig. Thursday evening I got to go song-for-song with one of my FAVORITE local songwriters and performers. I met Stacy Jones over 10 years ago when I was booking at Hard Rock Cafe and we've been fast friends ever since. She's an award winning songwriter so I had better bring my A-game and don't play any songs that suck.
